Dr. Liz Thomas had her schooling at the Mary Immaculate School, Mumbai. She took her MBBS from the NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur.

Later, she went on to do MS in Ophthalmology at the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and DNB (Ophth) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Dr. Liz then joined for the Glaucoma Fellowship at the Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.

Subsequently, she obtained a fellowship at the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) and proceeded for training in Glaucoma at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England. Dr. Liz is a Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (MRCOphth), London.
